Xyalala is an exoplanet system in the so-called M-dwarf star constellation. Located 2,400 light years from Earth, the system contains a sun-like, low mass star and an almost Earth-size transiting planet. One hundred two years ago it was the target of a scientific study which led to the discovery of seven additional planets to the system using precise radial-velocity measurements of the star. Assandra and Bandit, her capybara friend, lives in the ruins of a city in a post-apocalyptic world. Assandra is a strong and independent woman. Survival is tough, but they hope to someday rebuild the city. The sun rose above the old mall. Above it, a monorail used to take visitors between the major sights of the city, ending up on the roof of the mall. The leftovers of the tracks created an indent in the ceiling that cast a peculiar shadow across the cracked pavement....

Assandra and Bandit, her capybara friend, lives in the ruins of a city. They met Alex, an alien. Assandra, Bandit and Alex now work together to survive. The sun rose above the old mall, quickly warming up the cracked pavement. Assandra poked her head out of the makeshift tent and looked around. Bandit was nowhere to be seen. “Bandit?” she called out, but there was no answer. Assandra left the tent and started exploring the ruins of the mall....

We received word that the planet we saved a few weeks ago had been destroyed by the aliens. It was heartbreaking to know that we weren’t able to save them....

March 1, 2122 The Intergalactic Space Station Dear Diary, It’s been a little over two years since I’ve been assigned to the Intergalactic Space Station. It’s been an amazing experience and I’ve seen things that I never thought were possible. I’ve even had the opportunity to travel to other galaxies. But today was different. Today, we received a distress call from a planet on the other side of the galaxy. The planet was under attack by an alien race and their planet was about to be destroyed....

“We’re almost out of supplies for this week” Bandit said as he and Assandra rummaged through the wreckage of a grocery store. “I know, we’ll have to find something soon” Assandra said. Suddenly, they heard a loud noise. It sounded like something was moving. They hid behind a pile of rubble and waited. After a few moments, they heard the noise again. It was getting closer. They both held their breath and waited....
